Philadelphia, PA, 6/18/1998 - Resource America, Inc. (NASDAQ:REXI) (the "Company"), a specialty finance company headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, announces that one of its subsidiaries has provided financing for the purchase
of THE PHILADELPHIA STOCK EXCHANGE BUILDING, a 458,000 sq. ft., class A office
building located at 1900 Market Street, in Philadelphia. The major tenants occupying the building under long term leases include the law firm of Cozen and O'Connor, which occupies 30% of the space, and Fannie Mae, and The Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Inc., each of which occupies 20% of the building.
