RESOURCE AMERICA, INC. FILES REGISTRATION STATEMENT OFFERING 1.5 MILLION NEW SHARES OF COMMON STOCK
Philadelphia, PA, 3/9/2022 - Resource America, Inc. (NASDAQ:REXI) (the "Company") announced today that it had filed on March 5, 2022 a Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with a proposed offering by the Company of 1.5 million new shares of its common stock. The underwriting will be managed by Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., Inc., BancAmerica Robertson Stephens and Janney Montgomery Scott Inc.
Resource America, Inc. is a specialty-finance company primarily focused on real estate finance and equipment leasing. The Company's real estate finance activities principally involve the acquisition, at discount, and resolution of income-producing real estate mortgages. The Company's equipment leasing activities focus primarily on small ticket leasing programs for manufacturers and vendors. Additionally, the Company owns and operates energy assets in the
Appalachian Basin.
