Corporate

Edward E. Cohen
Edward E. Cohen has been Chairman of the Board of Resource America, Inc. since 1990 and has been a member of its Board of Directors since 1988. He was Chief Executive Officer from 1988 to 2004 and President from 2000 to 2003. Mr. Cohen was Chairman of the Board of Resource Capital Corp. (a publicly-traded real estate investment trust managed by Resource America, Inc.) from its formation in 2005 to November 2009 and has been a director since November 2009. Mr. Cohen has also been chief executive officer and president of Atlas Energy, L.P. since February 2011. He served as chairman of the board of directors from January 2006 until February 2011 and as chief executive officer of Atlas Pipeline Holdings, L.P. from January 2006 until February 2009 and has served on the executive committee of the board of directors since 2006. Mr. Cohen was chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of Atlas Energy, Inc. from September 2000 until February 2011. Cohen served as president of Atlas Energy, Inc. from September 2000 until October 2009. Cohen served as chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of Atlas Energy Resources, LLC from June 2006 until February 2011. Cohen has been chairman of the managing board of Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. since 1999 and was chief executive officer of Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. from 1999 until January 2009. He was Chairman of the Board of Brandywine Construction & Management, Inc. (a property management company) since 1994.

Jonathan Z. Cohen
Jonathan Z. Cohen has been Chief Executive Officer of Resource America, Inc. since 2004, President since 2003, and a Director since 2002. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer from 2002 to 2004, Executive Vice President from 2001 to 2003 and Senior Vice President from 1999 to 2001. He is also the Chief Executive Officer, President and a Director of Resource Capital Corp. since its formation in 2005. He has been chairman of the board of directors for Atlas Energy, L.P. since February 2011. Cohen served as vice chairman of the board of directors for Atlas Pipeline Holdings, L.P. from January 2006 until February 2011 and has served as chair of the executive committee of the board of directors since 2006. Cohen was vice chairman of the board of directors of Atlas Energy, Inc. from September 2000 until February 2011 and chairman of the board of the executive committee of Atlas Energy, Inc. from October 2009 until February 2011. Mr. Cohen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. He received a Juris Doctor from American University School of Law.

Jeffrey F. Brotman
Jeffrey F. Brotman has been Executive Vice President of Resource America since June 2007. He has been an Executive Vice-President of Resource Capital Corp since 2009. Mr. Brotman was a co-founder of Ledgewood, a Philadelphia based law firm concentrating in financial, corporate, real estate and other business matters and was affiliated with the firm from 1992 until June 2007, serving as its managing partner from 1995 until March 2006. He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TRM Corporation (a publicly traded consumer services company) from September 2006 to September 2008 and was TRMÔ€™s President and Chief Executive Officer from March 2006 through June 2007. Mr. Brotman is also a certified public accountant and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Mr. Brotman received a B.S. from Lehigh University, summa cum laude, in 1985 and a J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School, summa cum laude, in 1989.

Thomas C. Elliott
Chief Financial Officer since December 2009 and Senior Vice President since 2005. Senior Vice President - Finance and Operations from 2006 to December 2009. Senior Vice President - Finance from 2005 to 2006. Vice President – Finance from 2001 to 2005. Chief Financial Officer of Resource Financial Fund Management, Inc. (a wholly-owned asset management subsidiary of Resource America, Inc.) since 2004. Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer of Resource Capital Corp. from 2005 to 2006 and Senior Vice President – Finance and Operations since 2006. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Elliott held various financial positions at Fidelity Leasing, Inc., our former subsidiary, including Manager of Financial Planning, Director of Asset Securitization and Treasurer. Tom has a BS in accounting from Gwynedd Mercy College.


Anthony Coniglio
Anthony Coniglio is Senior Vice President of Resource America and has held this position since August 2013. Between September 2011 and August 2013, Mr. Coniglio was CEO of Elevation Home Loans, LLC, a start-up residential mortgage company. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and co-head of the Specialty Finance Investment Banking Group at JP Morgan. During his 14 years at JP Morgan, Mr. Coniglio was responsible for leading a Structured Finance business and was instrumental in establishing JP Morgan’s Asset Backed Conduit platform. Prior to that, he held a number of roles at CIBC spanning Operations, Treasury and Structured Finance Originations. Prior to that Mr. Coniglio worked at Price Waterhouse auditing Banks and Asset Managers. He has over 22 years of Financial Services experience.

Michael S. Yecies
Senior Vice President since 2005 and Chief Legal Officer and Secretary since 1998. Vice President from 1998 to 2005. Senior Vice President since 2007 and Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Resource Capital Corp. since 2005. Attorney at Duane Morris LLP (an international law firm) from 1994 to 1998.

Purvi Kamdar
Vice President, Director of Marketing and Investor Relations. Ms. Kamdar is responsible for coordinating fundraising and investor relations for Resource America, Inc. and its affiliates since 2006. Before joining Resource America, Inc., Ms. Kamdar worked with Sigma Capital, an S.A.C. hedge fund, and prior to that she worked at Bear, Stearns & Company. She received both an M.B.A. and B.S. in economics, magna cum laude, from The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.

Alan F. Feldman
Senior Vice President RAI since 2002. Chief Executive Officer of Resource Real Estate, Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary) since 2004. Vice President at Lazard Freres & Co. (an investment bank) from 1998 to 2002. Executive Vice President at PREIT-Rubin, Inc., the management subsidiary of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (a publicly-traded real estate investment trust) and its predecessor, The Rubin Organization, from 1992 to 1998.

David E. Bloom
Senior Vice President RAI since 2001 and President of Resource Real Estate, Inc. since 2001. Prior to joining Resource America, Mr. Bloom was Senior Vice President at Colony Capital, LLC (an international real estate opportunity fund) from 1999 to 2001. Before that, he was Director at Sonnenblick-Goldman Company from 1998 to 1999. Mr. Bloom began his career as an attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher from 1996 to 1998.

Kevin M. Finkel
Senior Vice President of RAI. President and Chief Operating Officer for Resource Real Estate Opportunity REIT since 2009 and Executive Vice President, Director of Acquisitions of Resource Real Estate since 2004. Prior to joining Resource America in 2002, Mr. Finkel was an investment banker at Barclays Capital and one of its predecessors from 1999 to 2000 and Deutsche Bank Securities from 1994 to 1998. Mr. Finkel received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree with a Real Estate and Finance concentration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Scott Crowe
Managing Director and Head of Resource Real Estate Securities. Global Portfolio Manager for the RRE Diversified Income Fund and Global Opportunity Strategy. Before joining Resource America, Mr. Crowe was the Global Portfolio Manager for Cohen & Steers where he lead the investment and research process for a team of over 20 portfolio managers and analysts. Prior to this, he was the Head of Global Real Estate for UBS equities research. Mr. Crowe holds an Honors Degree from the University of Technology Sydney in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW/National University of Singapore.

Jeffrey D. Blomstrom
Senior Vice President of Resource America, President of Resource Financial Fund Management (RFFM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Resource America, since 2003, and Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Trapeza Capital Management, LLC, since 2002. Mr. Blomstrom also serves as the head of collateral origination and as a member of the credit committee for Trapeza Capital Management. From 2001 to 2003 Mr. Blomstrom was a Managing Director at Cohen Bros. and Company, an investment bank specializing in the financial services sector. From 2000 to 2001 he was Senior Vice President of iATMglobal.net, Inc., an ATM software development company. Mr. Blomstrom was, from 1999 to 2000, an associate at Covington & Burling, a law firm, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.

Justin Milberg
Justin Milberg is currently a Managing Director of Resource Financial Fund Management where he directs an investment strategy focused on life settlements. Prior to joining Resource America, he was a Managing Director in the Insurance Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch and was previously a Managing Director at Lazard and has nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. In those roles, he advised major insurance companies on a global basis regarding M&A, restructurings, demutualizations, equity and debt financing and other capital optimization strategies including reserve financing. Mr. Milberg has an MBA from Wharton School of Management and a BA from Cornell University.

David DeSantis
David DeSantis is a Managing Director of Resource Financial Fund Management and he heads middle market loan origination and underwriting. Prior to joining Resource America, Mr. DeSantis was a Managing Director of Medley Capital, LLC. Prior to that role, Mr. DeSantis worked at General Electric Capital Corporation in various positions, most recently within Global Sponsor Finance as Vice President. He has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS from Boston College.

David J. Bryant
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since June 2006.  Mr. Bryant brings twenty five years of real estate industry accounting and SEC financial reporting experience to RCC.  Prior to joining RCC, Mr. Bryant was Senior Vice-President, Real Estate Services, at Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) for one year.  Before that Mr. Bryant served as Senior Vice-President and Treasurer at PREIT for five years.  Prior to that he served as Vice–President, Financial Services, at PREIT Rubin, Inc., and The Rubin Organization, Inc.

LEAF Financial Corporation

Crit S. DeMent
Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of LEAF Commercial Capital, Inc., a small ticket equipment leasing and finance company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. LEAF is a vendor, leasing platform that has originated over $3.2 billion in leases and loans since 2003. Before joining LEAF Mr. DeMent was President of Fidelity Leasing, Inc. and its successor, the Technology Finance Group of Citi-Capital Vendor Finance from 1996 to 2001. Mr. DeMent was Vice President of Marketing for Tokai Financial Services from 1987 through 1996. He has served the US based Equipment Leasing and Finance Association in various capacities where he is currently the Chairman for 2012.

Donald W. Delson
