SENIOR ASSOCIATE (New York, NY) Supervise & manage junior staff. Independently identify & structure private equity & debt investments in publicly traded & privately-held community banks. Independently perform extensive corporate financial modeling for banks (M&A transactions, FDIC failed bank acquisitions, organic growth, regulatory capital analysis, FASB 141 modeling) & for vehicles that could hold bank debt (structured products financial modeling). Independently originate community bank private equity investments. Perform due diligence on prospective investments including detailed loan review. Perform asset liability review. REAL ESTATE PRIVATE EQUITY FINANCIAL ANALYST – ACQUISITION GROUP

The Position: RRE is currently seeking a highly energetic and motivated Financial Analyst to assist members of
the Acquisition Team in a broad range of real estate and financial activities. The candidate will
be primarily involved in the evaluation of multifamily real estate acquisition investment
opportunities. Specific duties will include underwriting property cash flows, market and
demographic research and the preparation of internal presentations and financial analysis. The
candidate will work closely with senior team members. The candidate will also interact with real
estate brokers and sellers, help recommend acquisitions pricing to senior management and assist in
the negotiation of acquisition terms, debt terms and the execution of property due diligence.
Selected Responsibilities:

- Underwrite (model) cash flows for potential investments
- Analyze location characteristics and demographic trends of potential investments
- Prepare “comp” valuation and market analysis, including sales and leasing comparables
- Monitor and review the acquisition transaction pipeline
- Produce PowerPoint slide shows and presentations
- Maintain deal and market information files
- Perform general research for acquisitions, asset management, capital raising and new business
- Perform financial due diligence, including assisting in lease audits to verify pro forma assumptions
- Create financial packages for debt providers and committee write-ups
- Interface with external partners/operators, contractors, senior lenders, property managers, leasing brokers, vendors and other consultants
- Monitor financial markets, real estate markets, the interest rate environment and overall economic condition in order to evaluate on-going risks and opportunities
- Visit properties when required

Qualifications: The candidate must be a detail-oriented person with excellent analytical and communication skills.
The candidate must be proficient with financial modeling in Excel. The candidate should also be
proficient with PowerPoint and Word. The candidate will need a proven history of being extremely
self-motivated, highly organized and an open communicator who is eager to work in a fast-paced,
entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, real estate,
accounting or economics. Prior professional
experience in real estate is a plus, but not required.

The Position: RRE is currently seeking a highly energetic and motivated Transactions Associate to develop and
implement exit strategies, from inception through closing, for the Firm’s national portfolio of
distressed real estate investments. The Associate will be responsible for maximizing sale proceeds
while minimizing investment hold periods through aggressive hands-on management, thorough financial
analysis and deal execution. Transactions will include broker-assisted auctions, loan workouts,
debt placements and recapitalizations. The ideal candidate will have related real estate experience
with strong knowledge of underwriting, operations and due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage entire sale process including: broker selection, buyer selection, contract negotiations, pro rations and closing.
- Create and maintain deal-level and fund-level investment models which forecast cash flow, IRR and promoted returns.
- Oversee and assume responsibility for property-level financial performance for all deals in disposition pipeline.
- Communicate with all levels of the Firm’s in-house Property Management company, from Directors to Property Managers.
- Participate in annual creation of budgets, guiding Property Management towards disposition-related financial goals.
- Manage monthly capital calls and distributions to investors.
- Understand and approve all capital improvement projects.
- Monitor financial markets, real estate industry, interest rate environment and overall economic conditions in order to evaluate on-going risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree from a top tier institution; MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in relevant field

Selected Responsibilities:

- Create and manage business plans related to the investments within the portfolio.
- Maintain cash flow models in order to evaluate current and futures cash position, refinancing or disposition opportunities and capital improvement projects and present findings to senior members of the asset management team.
- Review and present monthly/annual operating statements and budgets including, variance analysis and forecasts to senior management.
- Interface daily with external partners/operators, contractors, property management team, leasing brokers, vendors and other consultants.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of concise presentations to senior management including recommendations to preserve, enhance and maximize value.
- Review and process capital expenditure and construction draw requests.
- Monitor financial markets, real estate industry including the particular sub markets which we hold investments, interest rate environment and overall economic condition in order to evaluate on-going risks and opportunities.
- Review quarterly financial statements as well as assist in the preparation of materials provided to investors on a quarterly basis.
- Visit properties when required.

Qualifications:

- The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree preferably in finance, real estate, accounting or economics. Degree should be from a top tier institution with strong academic record.
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills and a mastery of financial modeling in Excel
- Proven history of self-motivation and organization
